SERVER NEEDS FIXED

    Okay for a week now if not longer the freakin zombie riot server is messing up....You get to the second day and there is always one zombie that does not lose health....Its is bugged and someone needs to fix it.... :verymad:

    I noticed that as well. I think it was last night when I saw you on, the zombie Brett was invincible and couldn't be damage.

    Maybe Josh should let me be able to just slay certain zombie when they get that way. :tard:

    I'm pretty sure then it's the Team Fortress 2 Spawn protection that is loaded on there.

    I don't do configuration work on Zombie Riot, nor any third party plugins that get added onto there (unless if they are creating errors, in which case I fix them).

    The current Steam Profile issue though, is my fault.

    They should only be protected for 20 or so seconds after spawning.

    How about setting a time limit per rounds?
    This would mean that if a zombie has decided to go rambo we just need to run for are lifes for a while rather than having to rtv to get no where.

    Other possible option is when the zombie count goes to 1 a three minute count down starts as protection.
    Once three minutes is over it auto slays/kicks the alive zombies. [said zombies as some idoit may have died anoth to get turned into a zombie]


    It would be a simple fix and atleast keep people from getting pissed at having to rtv.
    I my self would rather wait 3 minutes to end a round extra than to have to restart a new map

    Issue still exists today. I find that just freezing the invincible zombie and telling the other players not to waste ammo on it works just fine as a stop-gap. Only problem is, we don't usually have admins on ZR..... :frown: I'm lonely there....

    If anyone was still interested, it took around 30 seconds to look at the plugin and fix (was setting on any client, however there was a bot check on removal, thanks TF2), it should work flawlessly now. I've made some optimizations (Took a bit longer, I'll optimize the Zombie Riot plugin tomorrow), removed some cruft, etc.

    In the future, PM me on the forums if something is not working. Preferably more than one person, so I don't waste my time looking into a non-existent issue. This happens far too often, which has been a de-motivation to do ANYTHING. That, and I receive Emails when someone PM's me, which serves as a reminder.

    On a side note, should I change the server name | make a news post? From where the bug was... it would have surely pissed a lot of people off, and happened completely out of the blue.

    It might be nice to make people aware of the fix.... don't know what an appropriate server name change would be, so perhaps the news post is the way to go.
