Servers aren't non-steam anymore?

So since Valve updated you guys changed it so non-steam players can play any more? Is their a reason for that? And if you guys didn't notice their is a lot of less players since that. I hope you guys go back to non-steam because your servers are the best out there.

Can they IP Ban the hackers or or something? and before there was always at least 40 people on the server and now its half that.

I approve this change. Pay to play. Less hackers..less work.

How much will it affect the population not having a cracked server?

The population went down by more then half right now their is an average of 10 people on the ZM and Escape and 0 on the GUN GAME before all these servers had at least a good 40 people on them now they are practically dead. Please bring back the best non-steam servers back, they were so much fun i cant believe their gone.

I remember when i was playing before on non steam there was 24/7 full server.

I know. The population went down a fair bit. I am actively working on trying to crack it again - but it appears the new valve update is complicating the process. I can not guarantee availability for cracked clients for this very reason. If you want a guaranteed spot on our servers in the future, I would highly recommend buying the game. It will open the door to even more servers, and additionally, you'll be supporting VALVe. CS:S is only $20 right now.

Femme: If the cheater issue continues to be a problem I will investigate some anti-cheat solutions. As a last resort I will uncrack the server's permanently.

[EDIT] I believe I fixed the issue that was preventing it from working. GunGame is now cracked. I will be applying the cracks to the other servers later tonight after I reboot the box to update the kernel.

Well, if nothing else this was a great psychological experiment. It seems cheaters prefer Zombie escape as oppose to Unlimited ammo. Escape is practically dead while Unlimited Ammo is still going full force.

On a side note, ethanol + milk + cereal could very well be the most awesome thing on this planet.
