    Hello everyone,

    I wanted to stop in and let you guys know I'm working on a website that might be of large interest. I've been trying to get ahold of clans to let them know what I'm doing, if your not interested thats fine. But I want to give you the chance to check it out. Its a website that caters to clans and people that play games, its like a facebook / myspace for gamers. I'm still working on it but its extremely useable at this time.

    I'd have respect for what you're trying to do but when all you're doing is using a pre-coded CMS and leeching off various gaming related forums to get your site hits I lose all respect and interest. My only advice is get some ads on there and try to make yourself some money, because using that shitty dolphin CMS as a core for your gaming community probably isn't going to get you very far and all you've done is paid for a domain and a few months of hosting + hours of wasted time with nothing to show for it. At least if you lace the shit with ads early on you might gain back some of that money you spent when purchasing the domain/hosting. I personally have no interest in your half-assed website but I won't edit your post and remove the URL for the simple fact that just maybe there's an individual on here that would actually like to use "your" site. If some other mod or admin feels the need to remove this bullshit thread or edit it all I can say is you have my full go ahead but don't let that make up your decision. Back to you Redonkuless, you join a forum and the first post you make is to advertise your site and clearly could give less of a fuck about the community whose forum's you're posting on. Take my advice, lace it with ads, or enjoy wasting your time. Perhaps you can take this as motivation so I'll eat my words down the line and if so, glad I could help, kind of. Doubt that will be the case, however.

    Also, why the hell would I want to go to a site that might have Stupid MW2 kids? Fuck those guys!


    & If I'm looking for a site to talk with people I play with(such as the people in pF) I'LL GO TO THE SITE pF SET UP.

    Well, I tell you, not the response I was looking for. I could reply with some nasty thing about ipboards and you using a premade CMS type of site. In all seriousness. I really think what im trying to get going here is a bit more then spaming peoples boards, and putting together some crappy site. I actually have allot of features I'm going to be putting into the site here in the next 6 months to help out clans. If its something your not interested in being apart of so be it. As far as hosting, I run my own colocation company. The community for gaming is my donation back to the community . Sites ran on a Freebsd system with a Astaro IDS core. As far as the software goes, eh we are all using some type of premade software. I feel dophin has alot more to offer then elgg for community boards. To each their own. At anyrate. I hope the rest of you arn't discurraged by this admin that just ran his mouth with out thinking about what he was saying. At any rate if you chose to take this posting down thats fine. I'm just trying to provide your clan and followers a free service that might be beneficial to your resources.
