CS:S Spray Rule Change

    Hi All,

    It's been a while. Now that we've re-enabled sprays, we took a look at the spray rules we have. In one single instance there were 5 people with pictures of fully naked women. Going forward, instead of getting a warning, or in extreme cases, a ban, we have implemented a new tiered system.

    If you have a mature spray (nudity, porn, sex acts), all you need to do is type @spraym to mark your spray as mature and it will be totally fine. You can check the status of your spray with @sprays.

    An admin may choose to mark your spray as mature if you've forgotten. If this happens you cannot unmark your spray and you need to ask an admin for help if your spray is no longer mature.

    Mature sprays are hidden by default. You can use @sprayv to toggle viewing mature sprays. If your spray is marked as mature, this setting is forced on.

    To reiterate:
    sm_spraym - Mark / unmark your spray as mature.
    sm_sprays - View if your spray is classified as mature.
    sm_sprayv - Toggle viewing mature sprays.

    If you're an admin:
    sm_spraym <target> - Mark someones spray as mature.

    If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to let us know.

    tl;dr: This is removing the 'Porn' subsection under the 'no inappropriate sprays' rule. Use @spraym if your spray has adult content in it (even tits). Have fun.

        Remember though, kids, this is still a no-no:

        • Racism:
          Any racist spray (even in jest).
        • Generally Disgusting Sprays
          Dismembered body parts, mutilation or gore.
          Human or animal fluids such as vomitus or excrement.

          Very nice. I like this implementation. This will allow more guys to jerk off to CS:S. Be ready for some tacos and meat. Meatball sandwiches. Pancakes and sausages. Breakfast burritos.             So I assume that the normal Process still applies for Gore/Racist sprays, even if marked Mature?

                  So when I change a spray to mature it doesn't say it's mature when I type !spray. Is it still working even though it doesn't say mature?

                  If you spray your spray when it isn't mature, it won't say it's mature because it's still visible to players for two rounds.

                    I would like to bring to note my spray was marked as mature when it wasnt you may want to clarify what is mature and what isnt

                      The new rule should make it pretty clear, here's the relevant snippet.
                      I hope to not see people abusing this new feature, this is not to be used to simply mark sprays you dislike, please stick to the guidelines.
