Stop with the permanent bans...

Admins, please stop permanently banning people, especially people that I play with every morning. The guys I am talking about is suicidal... Kitty perm banned him this morning, she said he was racist. I have been playing with the guy for weeks now and he has never come out to be racist. He has never said anything racist since I have played with him.

Yes he was mic spamming funny songs, no one complained about it. He was only doing it while a few people were on, there were only 7 people on the server. Everyone that was playing thought the songs were funny thats why no one complained... From my understanding, Kitty got on and just perm banned him out of the blue. She was not signed in as admin, her name was "Shebitch" she didn't even give him a warning... Admins should NEVER ban when someone when they aren't signed in as admin (aka blue text) If they warn the person in normal text, the player will not take it seriously, but kitty didn't even give suicidal a warning...

Just my 2 cents... the permanent bans have to go... Friends of the people that get perm banned will end up joining other server to play in..

I was in the server earlier as my .pF.Kitty. name when Suicidal and his buddy Scuba Steve were on. They were mic spamming at that time, I told Suicidal to stop, he diddn't, so I muted Suicidal, Suicidal avoided my mute, so I kicked him, twice. (I actually should have banned him then but I diddnt. I dont know why.) But then again, you wouldnt know that because you weren't there at that point in time.

Then after I left. The same guys joined, and I was alerted by Potshot that they were having mic wars. So I came in under my alias (SheBitch). When I joined, Inferno here, left the server because of the mic spam. So I muted the Suicidal guy. Once again Suicidal leaves to avoid being muted...not too long after he joins again and starts spamming alittle and then starts saying "n***** acouple times". His friend Scuba Steve said Jew acouple times so I had no problem banning him aswell.

Oh and you wouldn't know that, because, once again...you weren't there. You came back to the end, where I banned both for constant spam, racial slurs, can't forget when they were harrassing me after I was on the mic...saying sexual perverted things. (that was earlier when I first muted/kicked Suicidal)

I know I was kind of a bitch about it, I wasn't that bad. To be honest. Also...I get irritated at the fact that players always question me after a ban, its somewhat irritating and it makes me feel incompetent. And after all that yeah...I am going to be a bitch about it.

I dont know why but you always have something to say about my admining on the server. Im starting to think you have something against me. It doesnt matter though. Becuase any other admin would have done the same thing. Im pretty sure of it.

Im also pretty sure Suicidal is one of your buddies. So I understand why you would defend such a moron.

1 - When I rejoined the room, everyone said he was banned. I asked why, they said b/c of the mic spamming. They told me that he got no warning about it, thats why I made this post
2 - I know I was not there, I made this post because other people in the room (about 4 of them) told me he was banned without a warning. I took their word for it, hell it was 4 different people... I thought I could believe them.
3 - If he said the N word with the A at the end, that is not racist. If the N word had the ER at the end, its racist. Rappers say the N with the A all of the time in their songs, thats not racist. You can not say thats racist, say its not tollerated, don't say its racist...
4 - I did not know about the sexual things, I am sorry. But thats what little kids do when a girl is on the mic... I think they should have gotten banned just for that, I would not tollerate it...
5 - I am not against your admin status. I was warned one time that I would get a permanent ban myself from Da_Punisher, he said him and Kitty would permanently ban me because the one time I came in and said "Mornin N*ggas"



Again, N*gga and N*gger are 2 different words. The one with the A is NOT racist, the one with the ER is. You can say the A is not tollerated because it might offend people, but you can't say its racist. I hope you understand what I am trying to say.

Still, I know the rules say no discrimination allowed or you get a permanent ban. But saying the N with the A is racist is extreme in my view. I am not saying it doesn't offend people, I am just trying to explain how the 2 words are different.

So, about the whole" n***a" thing. Your saying anyone can say it? even if they are implying racism, but saying it in a way that wont get them punished? Its retarded. I beleive that any N word should not be tolerated in the server. If he really did say "Stupid N*ggers" or something like that, he should get banned, but not a permanent ban, maybe banned for 1 day? Or a week?

I don't like the N word myself, but I can tell there is a difference. One was used back in the slavery days, one was created by blacks so that the ER version would not hurt their feelings as much, or am I wrong? :-\

Still though, a permanent ban is extreme, maybe ban him for a few days max? Next time he comes in he might not start sh*t again... I don't know...

I agree he needs to defend himself. I am just trying to help him out. The reason why I made this post was because I said "Morning n*ggas" when I came in the room one time, Da_Punisher banned me for an hour. During that time I tried to explain to him that I was sorry and it wouldn't happen again, but he would not listen to me and ended up blocking my messages. When I got unbanned, I joined the server, tried to explain AGAIN what happened, he ignored me. He acted almighty about it, acted like he is right about everything because he is admin (no offense) He still has me on ignore, he is still hostile towards me when I join rooms.

Since he will not listen to anything I say anymore, I have come to the forum to release some of my frustrations... The server admins need to know what is going on...

Yes, I understand that Punisher can be a hardass. Thats just him. He has strong opinions, and he sticks to them. Its either good or bad..depending on the situation.

And what exactly is going on? We do our jobs as admins, sometimes it seems harsh but you know what. Life is harsh, and we have to be to get our point across somehow. And most of the time admining in the pF zm server is not the easiest and most tolerable thing. You start to get irritated and frustrated with the server where there is up to 50-ish people all doing their thing like mic-stepping, or blocking, venting, spamming, chat spamming, obcene sprays, complaining. No, its not all at the same time, sometimes it is. The points is...its frustrating having to babysit when all you want to do is relax and ghave a good game.

I have to admit, sometimes I have to leave the server, to get away from all the noise. complaining, constant mic-stepping. How many of the other admins fell the same way? Im sure they all do.

The only thing that is going on is that some of the admins will not listen to anything. I know your pretty cool, but other admins (Da_Punisher) will not listen to anything. I tried to explain my side of the story, he blocks me. Everytime I see him on, I never join the server. I try to avoid him as much as possible. Some of the admins need to just calm down and have fun playing, but they get pissed and start threatening and banning people... Nothing against you Kitty, but Da_Punisher said that you and him were looking for anything to use to ban me. Thats why I don't join the server when he is on... I just wanted to make sure the server admins knew about it... Thats the only thing that is going on...

What a intense convo. The reason the server doesn't allow any form of the word nigga or N***** Filtered. I dont know why one would be considered racist and the other not is because than it leads right to it because the server is immature. Also the admins will get 10 pms about it of people being offended.

This is for another thread but i think we might change the ban policy as far as permanent bans go. this will be up to kitty to remove the ban or keep it.

1. You were not there, you stated so. YOU CAN'T MAKE A CASE WITHOUT BEING THERE
2. Nigga originated from N***** Filtered. your a twat if you think otherwise.
3. What little kids do on the mic does not help the reputation of our server. if they wish to spam then they can do it somewhere else. this is a family and none of us want to hear that crap.
4. Permanent ban is decided by the admin. If you use a racial slur then it is taking your chance because we spam "Please respect players and admins" last time I checked, using a racial slur was not respectful since it is a negative term. We try to give warnings on how stuff is used but that is only when it has not gone too far already.
5. Why should we give a warning? if you know not to do something then why should you be given another chance for acting up? Officer I stole a car, can I have a warning? Obviously they knew not to spam since they had be kicked already. I don't see how they did not have a previous warning.
6. If a admin chooses to go under a different name to weed out the missfits that only act up when there is "no admin" in game, then let them because it is the best way to find the people stupid enough to pull shit when we are not present

Sorry, but that's how we take unban requests. When he states his case, that's when we see if the perma-ban was necessary or not. If it was, he may get a second chance or not. If it wasn't, the admin will be dealt with.

This is the last time I see an admin insult a player without punishment. Banned or not.

it's too much trouble to just try and help them out. they dug themselves a deep hole, and they need to get themselves out of it. Especially because kitty says they were harassing her, and because they were spamming music. The rules clearly state that someone holding the mic button down for MORE than 2 seconds is considered spamming, unless the person is trying to talk about something server related or important. any funny or loud noises, music, etc.... isn't allowed and it gets punished, with a mute first, kick second, then temp ban 3rd.

Racism it taken VERY seriously here. even hinting at a racial slur can get you temp banned, but straight out saying N***a and getting temp banned? you'd be extremely lucky.

tell your firends to make a forum account, and read the rules so they know what they did wrong. from the sounds of it, they broke about 3 or so server rules.

We have had discussion by admins in the past about it aswell.
Kitty clearly said she gave warnings. If people choose to act up just because someone leave the area does not give them a ok.
