The show Death Note

Ok, first off, I normally dislike anime with a fiery passion. However, I heard good things about this particular series, so while browsing through some 'free' TV shows/movies on the internet I noticed that Death Note was listed. Letting my curiosity get the best of me, I decided to watch the first episode and see what it was like.

To make the long story short, I just spent the entire morning watching the first 19 episodes of Death Note that have been released so far. Now I'm getting impatient and wanting episode 20 to be released... Normally I try to have nothing to do with anime, but I've gotten hooked on this series! The way the plot develops is very well designed, and the characters are really something.

Anyways, I'm basically just wondering if anyone else has watched Death Note before, and what they think of it.

Im gonna try watching it. Is it in english at all or is it just english subtitles?

I could only find the Japanese version, and Japanese w/ English subs.

Read the manga. It's better.

I've read and watched the show. Both are well made and its a good story line.

I can't handle all the flashbacks in the anime. In the manga, they are kept to a minimum.
