    Alrighty, so here's the plan:
Though there's already a video thread, aptly named "Youtube lulz", I wish to have a different thread for higher content things. This is a place to post what you think are interesting and possibly lesser known videos, whether they be a webseries, something stand-alone, etc. Post a link or a suggestion and a brief description to give people a reason to view it. Also, don't worry about what host it is - Youtube works in a pinch, but other good places are DailyMotion, Blip, Vimeo, Hulu, or straight from the host site. Browse around for whatever works for you, though higher quality is preferred. Just a couple easy rules: 1) No memes/ keep funny random things to a minimum, since they already have their own thread and can be posted there, and 2) Please discuss items respectfully!

    To get this started:
Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog - Total run time ~42 min
    Youtube 720p:
    Act 1 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ju1wuW8n1uE
    Act 2 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyV96ZpJG98
    Act 3 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YipoJqlhM-c
A musical comedy made by Joss Whedon during the writer's strike a couple years ago about the aspiring villain Dr. Horrible (played by Neil Patrick Harris), his nemesis Captain Hammer (Nathan Fillion), and their love interest Penny (Felicia Day). It's a well-made short series worth watching for their singing and seeing how much Nathan Fillion hams it up

Sintel - Run time ~15 min
    Youtube 1080p - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRsGyueVLvQ
    Sintel.org Download Sources - http://www.sintel.org/wp-content/content/download.html
An excellent short 3D animated movie about a woman named Sintel and her quest to find her pet dragon Scales. It is the Blender Foundation's third movie to showcase the potential for the open source 3D editing/animation software Blender. The detail is amazing, animation is pretty accurate, and the music is very nice. Additional items such as the soundtrack and gallery images can be downloaded from the main site here.

I hope this thread draws much good content and I'll start another one soon for music appreciation

Absolutely amazing! I love the work traveling around different planes - it really adds to the spacial complexity and I really wish I saw more art like this! I have some links of other stop motion works somewhere... I'll try to find and post them since I'm sure this kind of art fascinates other people too!
