    Like 3 months ago. I gave ray a few maps to test, and he said that it was just surfing most of the time. It might not be him, but im pretty sure.

    the problem with surf maps is that its ZE not surf, and ppl QQ when they can surf. Hell we had mirrors edge and ppl QQ about that being barely surf

    One time falling and you start all the way over again, theres actually hold positions, zombies can't exploit the map to get in front of the humans, and last but not least, fellow humans can't screw over the rest of the team by .... shooting the darn top of the elevator.

    Now, both of these state "blah blah blah its a surf map. Surf has no place in ze"
    the point is, its still ZOMBIE ESCAPE, and beside, your arguments are invalid, because I can easily apply your logic to half of the maps on the server.
    EX:

    Hey guys, we should remove ze_boatescape from the server, because I came here to play zombie escape, not be a sailor.
    Hey guys, we should remove ze_makoreactor from the server, because I came here to play zombie escape, not run and fight bosses.
    ect. ect.
    ALSO: surf facility is a map that will pay off over time, the more people play it, the better they get, the problem with mirrors edge is that there was no save points, so people could never learn how to get past the billboard, vents whatever, surf facility has save points, so the longer the map is on the server, the better people will get at it, proof is that when I played it on other servers, a good 23+ cts completed the map, albeit it was on the server for a while. PLUS just ask the people on the server, a lot of people say that they like the map, and a lot of the time when I'm playing ze someone will say "change it to surf facility" or "RTV for surf facility!!!"

    Fact is, surf maps do not belong on a Zombie Escape server. It changes the game play on a fundamental level. If we have a surf map on the server, we might as well add more surf maps on the server.

    Okay, so a map can't have a theme? Might as well remove Predator because you fight a predator. Might as well also remove Mines of Moria and Mount Doom as well, because, after all, you're here to escape, not to pick a ring and destroy it. Right? Oh, and better remove sewer_escape, because I am here to escape, not ride a train for 10 seconds at the end of the map...

    Oh noes, we have a boss to fight! God forbid if there's an obstacle standing in our way in a ZE map! This also goes hand in hand with map theming. If every ZE map were a series of hallways with no traps/bosses/alternate paths/etc to keep things fresh, things would get boring very quickly.

    As stated earlier in the post, surf has no place on ZE, for the main reason being it changes gameplay on a fundamental level. It has a very narrow player skill base, meaning many players do not know how to surf. If we force this gameplay element upon people who are used to playing typical ZE maps and don't know how to surf (and trust me, a LOT of people don't), they will rage.

    If you want to play a surf map, join a surf server.
    if you want to bunnyhop, join a bunnyhop server.

    ... It's that simple.

    I actually made a recent change to the server which decreases lag tremendously, but then people started complaining they can't bunnyhop. Well, I'm sorry, but I'd rather improve the quality of gameplay on a global basis and make the game more enjoyable for everyone rather than let a couple of people bunnyhop and let everyone else suffer with more lag. It's a Zombie Escape server.

    Surf Facility, as a map, is also poorly made. The map author did not even put the effort in to putting proper lighting in to the map. Instead, he put fullbright on. This is only an example, but if you rush a map, your map has no business wasting space on my server. I have very strict map standards.
