    There are some odd visibility problems, but they're mostly unnoticeable and can't really be fixed. There is no ladder in the central pillar of the stairs room due to an engine limitation; You can only fall down from the roof, not go up.

    Pretty awesome. I like how you kept a lot of the classic spots while moving their buttons, makes it feel like a new map with an old twist. :razz: Like the new textures, much more professional.

    Gripe: The double doors only open one way. While not a problem with one person, if you have a person following you (which there usually is with 30+ players), then the door is stuck, as are you. That's the only problem I saw.

    The doors open one way from the outside because if they opened outwards, they would push everyone out of the way. The downside is when you try to open them from the inside out, you get stuck, but not many people exit the building once they enter it. The reason they get stuck when another player is touching the opposite door is because one door is slaved to the other (opens and closes with it) and I really can't do anything about it due to the doors being tied to an areaportal.

    There are several problems with the map that I'd love to fix, but the Source engine just won't allow it.

    i have to agree with pun on this one. the original is way better. not as many awesome secrets.

    This map has the exact same secrets, bar 3 of them. The rest are there, just changed around to confuse people.

    oh lol. i zoomed around in no clip and it didnt seem like they were there. must be the texture change for me :grin:. ill have to go back in and take a fourth look.

    What about the stairs leading to the The suicide chamber, the lock off thing, the toher way up(Boxes) was a cheap ass crouch spot.
    Was that fixed?

    The boxes are still there. I have never seen anyone use them as a crouch spot because it's too easy to get gotten from there.

    I like this. why not put this on the rotation, and see which v6 gets picked more?

    of course the new map will get picked first, because it's NEW. but i like it because it's brighter outside, and you can see a lot better.

    and its cool because now not everyone knows where all the teleports are, lol.

    we also need more user-created maps. this adds to the unique-ness of plaguefest: community members that submit their own maps for multi-player mayhem. bring your own napkins!

    People will always pick the old one coz they are resistant to change. But i still think we needa replace wtf hax with this new one

    They like the old one because it looks like ass on a platter, was built in hammer completely wrong and is overall mostly horrible looking. People can't seem to look past "OMG THAT TELEPORTER WAS REMOVED, GAY, MAP SUX" and see how much better the map looks and is built.

    Off topic quick-question: How do you create your own maps? Do you need to purchase a special program or is it a program within STEAM/CSS that allows you to do so?
